I Want to Play my Vintage Tone Generators from my Digital Piano WITHOUT Going Through a Computer.

Just ordered a device that is supposed to let me run my new digital piano into my vintage tone generators without having to go through a computer. (I’ve ordered two devices that were SUPPOSED to do that, but were really only ways of plugging a MIDI instrument into a computer’s USB port).
NOT happy with so many digital keyboards these days pretending that a USB port will provide all the functionality of a MIDI output.
Of course how many digital piano purchasers these days are sitting on vintage Roland and Yamaha tone generators? I REALLY want my TX-7 available when I’m just noodling around for the fun of it.
Updates to follow.DoReMIDI is supposed to let me drive my vintage synths from my USB-only digital piano.
